Thank you everyone, who sends their prayers and good wishes to Poland right now. Your solidarity and support mean a lot to us.

  

Michael Jackson is gone. I can't believe it. It's like some epoch is slowly reaching its end. Great people of my youth, the symbols of the 20th century, like the pope Jean Paul II, Mother Theresa, lady Diana and many others, whom I naively believed to some kind of indestructible, are going away. And now Michael. It's not like I was a huge and crazy fangirl of his, I'm not gonna lie about it, but this guy was a legend. And I liked his music, not all of that, but many of his songs associate to me with certain moments in my life, his videoclips made me laugh or (more often) cry and they will always be the music of my childhood and early adulthood.
Funny thing - just two days ago I was saying to my colleague at work that I needed to buy some of his albums 'cause I feel like listening to his music a lot lately and I don't have any. And the very next morning my mom told me he died that day...
Rest in peace, Michael.

Dear flist!

Okay, so here is the thing. I love the 1992 production  'A Few Good Men" with Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise, I think it's a great movie and I can't imagine anyone who would be better in the roles of Col. Jessep and Lt. Kaffee than those two. But since I've heard of the 2007 play in Casa Mañana Theater, with Jensen Ackles in the main role, I can't get it out of my head. I' ve searched for possible dvd editions (well, sometimes they do record plays too, not only movies) , but no such luck. And on Youtube I could find  only a 30 sec. trailer, some short interview and an autographs signing.
So, do you know about any recordings of this play?

So I'm officially a MASTER OF ARTS IN ARCHAEOLOGY now! Wow!
The exam wasn't hard, examination board very nice and this time (unlike on my bachelor's exam) I've had a few friends with me to hold my hand before the execution ;)

So THANKS EVERYONE who believed in me and wished me good luck, minx999, always_angel, astrangerfate, littlepunkryo ,and, cyndrarae, sweetheart, you can uncross your fingers already, I don't want you to get cramps ;)

OMG I'm so nervous!  I have my master's exam 22 hours from now and I'm so stressed, I feel like I don't know or remember anything. Please, dear f-list, have your fingers crossed for me tomorrow, I'll really need that! (and I WILL know if you don't ;) )

That's right. It never really knows when to come. I don't mind so much lying in bed and doing some pleasurable things, like reading or watching videos, but not when I have obligations at work! And an MA exam in two weeks  and some connected  formalities to comply with. And a birthday party of a friend of mine, whom I haven't seen for a long time and promised him I'll be there tomorrow. Huh, seems like I won't after all.
