This could go a variety of ways! The way I see it is that the weird things happening to the pod-casters start to grow and take on a life of their own, with all sorts of interweaving bits. It's all leading up to something terrible-- I lean towards great and undiscovered evils Lovecraft style, which may have even possessed someone, then everyone. Very bleak and lovely. Could even start out with an original pair or trio just straight up "reporting" on scary parts on internet, reading creepy pasta.
