Cruising through eBay, I just ran across and bought a personal treasure for only $15 including postage, after verifying it as authentic from a maritime history website: a 1951 stamped and canceled maiden voyage envelope from the luxury liner S.S. Independence, stamp-signed by Captain Hugh Switzer.
