Hi everyone.

First, I'd like to apologize that everyone got appointed as maintainer and moderator. I tried leaving the community, but LJ wouldn't allowe me as I was the only mod/maintainer. I had asked for someone else to take over, but I got no responses. Therefore I didn't see what else I could do but leave it for you all to fight amongst yourselves.

Is anyone interested in modding this community? I don't feel like I'm the best person to be working on this community with it not being active at all.

I want to leave it all up to you; I know it's a big mess for the only mod to leave a comm for someone else to take over. However, I don't feel like I'm doing anything for this comm, and with little to no posts from anyone but me. . .I don't know what else to do. Would people rather have it deleted? Please give me some feedback.

I changed the layout. . .although if I can find something different elsewhere I'll change it again. I'm thinking about making a header. Also, I'm going to modify the user info page.

Please, leave me comments about what you would like to see here. I don't want this to be just "my" community. I want it to be "our" community. (As corny as that sounds :)).

I figure since I'm the only person listed as a moderator of this community (I can't even remember anymore who created this community), I might as well give it a makeover. Does anyone have any suggestions of what you want to see? I'm up for anything, from wanting competitions, to things to add/subtract from the interests, etc.

Everyone loves games, right? Okay, I got this idea from baby_names. Think of all the names that are listed in country songs and post them here. I'll put a border on this, and say they have to be human names, and they can't be listed in the song as a place name, etc. (i.e. no "Alberta Bound" by Paul Brandt because he's using the name as a place, not a person.)

I'm a huge country music fan and found this community. Kind of new here. Or seriously new here. Whichever. ANYWAYS.

I love, love, love Toby Keith!  He is my absolute all-time favorite, can-not-live-without-him (or his music :), world's-biggest-obsession, huge-crush, some-call-it-stalking-I-call-it-love, kind of love.  And I've had these lyrics stuck in my head for a while.  Just thought I'd share.

I was wondering if people still checked out this community. It seems like participation has slipped, and that even if people do post, no one is really commenting. If people are still interested in this community, then I'd be willing to give it a facelift and we can try and come up with ideas to get the word out about this community. Otherwise. . .well. . .maybe it would be better left to rest?
