lynnenneI'm on episode 9 of Jessica Jones, and I'm addicted. Krysten Ritter is the bomb in this role, and Trish... I have SO MANY FEELINGS about the Jessica & Trish friendship. Don't tell me how it ends, I don't want to be spoiled. But once I'm done, I need to write meta.
With the recent attack on Planned Parenthood in Colorado, global religious fundamentalists who control everything about women from the way they dress to who they marry, and general everyday ugliness on the internet, this essay sums up my feelings perfectly: "If you think women every day don't experience a constant battle for power over their own lives, you're not paying attention."
