yandere duke x witch reader (PART 2)
Synopsis: What happens when a duke drinks one of your fake love potions and blames whatever he feels for you on it? Presuming you cursed him instead, he drags you back to his mansion and refuses to let you leave until you reverse the spell.
Youβve now been working for four months to cure a curse that doesnβt exist, and the duke has somehow become even more obsessed with you.
β¦At least youβre finally getting paid.
The duke has gotten moodier.
Like he wasnβt moody enough, he was now as annoying as a pesky fly. Always hovering around.
And itβs unfortunately interfering with your ability to work. (Youβve become a workaholic ever since you stepped foot on his mansion, just so you could leave sooner.)
Heβd sit by your table, head propped lazily on his hand, and with the other heβd play with your hair.
βYour hair is weird.β Heβd comment casually, pointing out your hair type. It doesnβt matter if other people also had straight, wavy or curly hair. Yours was still somehow the weird one.
Itβs become a routine for him to nitpick something about your appearance, habits, or personality whenever he could.
βItβs just hair, Your Grace.β You say with gritted teeth, his hand still stroking your hair distractingly.
βHm.β Heβd simply hum, and go to another strand, feeling the texture between his fingertips.
βIs it because youβre a witch you look like this?β
You pause the work in your hands, glancing up at him with squinting eyes. Is he saying that because of the rumors calling witches ugly?Β
βLikeΒ what?β You ask, trying to see where this was going.
βPretty.β
