If anyone knows anybody in the area that is looking for work, part time income on top of what they already do, or a career change, my company is doing a major expansion and looking to hire a bunch of part time and full time people. It's in Conshohocken. Must be at least 18.

A shipwrecked woman enters the fantastic Club 12^th Night, beginning a chain of events that lead to an astonishing conclusion.  Mistaken identities, intrigue, music, a beautiful heiress, merry drunken revelers, and a spiteful servant merge with a hip–hop rhythm in Shakespeare’s enchanting tale of revelry and love. Hopeless romantics will be captivated and pranksters will discover the ultimate joke. 

Directed by BRT's Artistic Director, Keith Baker and Donald Byrd, acclaimed Broadway choreographer (The Color Purple) and Artistic Director of Seattle's Spectrum Dance Theater.  Original hip-hop score by Justin Ellington.  Set and Costumes designed by Hiroshi Iwasaki, Lighting designed by Ryan O'Gara.

PAWS takes in over 30,000 animals a year. Yesterday alone we received 54 cats - and only had about 12 adoptions. We need to amp up our adoption rates, now! Spread the word! There are hundreds of beautiful, adoptable cats and dogs at PAWS! Here's just a sample of some of the beautiful animals who need homes. Please, cross-post this and spread the word. IF YOU CAN FOSTER OR ADOPT AN ANIMAL: Come to the shelter (111 W. Hunting Park Avenue) immediately. A staff person or foster care volunteer will be thrilled to help you find the right animal(s) for you to take into safety. Foster care and adoption hours are 11 am to 6 pm every day of the week.

Please, whether you live in Philadephia or not, take 10 minutes out of your day and help save 30,000 animals!

RIght now, there is a lot going on with Animal Control in Philadelphia.  PACCA is in danger of losing their contract with the city, as the health dept has put out an RFP on a contract to start Jan 1 2009, even though PACCA's contract is through June 30, 2009.  Philly PAWS and PACCA have gone leaps and bounds beyond what animal control in philly was doing 5 years ago, and that can't stop. Philly must be No-Kill. There is no lifesaving language in the current RFP, it only calls for "disposal of animals."

Please, the only thing that will save the 30,000+ animals that come through animal control each year are concerned citizens.

I'm a volunteer at PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, and I've been looking for more places to get the word out about fostering kittens. PAWS/PACCA gets over 30,000 animals a year and right now we are still battling kitten season and usually have between 25 and 40 litters who need to be fostered or they'll be euthanized due to space. I thought there might be people in this community who'd be interested in fostering - please let me know if you are and i can help you out. This is a post I make a couple times a week with pictures i've taken of every litter of kittens in the building, and i post it on craiglist, myspace, facebook, blogs, and anywhere I can find - please let me know if you know of any other good places i might find philly-area foster parents!
