ok have fun and be kind

Someone will say "as a queer person in the heart of empire, my life is in danger every day" and you'll find out they're a developer for Amazon and live in San Francisco or Seattle or some shit, and then you'll meet a trans girl from Alva, OK who's like "Yeah, things are pretty good. AutoZone moved me to full-time."

Someone in a queer group in my current blue city said that they didn't like expressions of solidarity because it "diluted their oppression".

i’ve been working on this speedbattle that i just kept adding to in short bursts as like a warm up for another project and it’s gotten… slightly out of hand

anyways, here’s some movement of the apostate’s raiment lol

i truly love the itano circus. it is such a good way to raise the stakes in an animation. flight sequence youre doing feels empty? 5 bajillion missiles, GO

imagine youre me.

  • You find a really good fic. (Like really good, its unfinished but 31 chapters >100k words freaking incredible. The AU it's based on is on tumblr and you're semi-familiar and excited.)
  • You stay up until like 4am reading the fic at some point youre like i should probably check when this was updated before i get overly attached.
  • It was last updated last year but you were lying to yourself anyways you're already attached.
  • You force yourself to go to sleep you wake up and finish the last couple chapters.
  • ok cool last chapter ends with an authors note saying that "they're tired and taking a break from daily chapters because they don't want to burn out" and you're like "what daily chapters that's crazy" so you go and compare the date posted and the last updated date and turns out this whole fic was written in less than month
  • Probably safe to say that they may not be coming back for a while because that output level is basically inhuman
  • But whatever such is the way of ao3 you leave a couple nice comments and go to their tumblr
  • Tumblr says that they're an aspiring author
  • cool cool probably means they have other fics to read maybe its in the fandom you're reading in maybe not but they definitely at least have some original work posted
  • you go back to ao3
  • you check their profile
  • 169 works posted

Genuinely how the fuck. Out of the 169 only 2 were the fandom i was reading (kpdh) but genuinely who cares what on earth do you have to be smoking to write that consistently. 169 fics.

hi, you’re talking about my beloved actually. i’m calchexxis’s life partner and i illustrate covers for their fics. they wrote 2.3 million words last year, and their ao3 is not even close to everything they’ve written. i’m fairly certain it does not include a bunch of their original fiction, and i know for a fact it does not include the millions of words of notes they keep for the multiple, multi-year long epic TTRPG campaigns they run. at times i have seen them run FIVE fantastic concurrent tabletop games while writing between 5 and 15 thousand words a day and working full time. they wrote a 9 thousand word long arknights endfield fic on a whim for me, WHILE TAKING A BREAK FROM WRITING THEIR OTHER FIC. i shit you not the way they take breaks from writing is they write something different. i sleep in a bed with them. i spend most of my time around them. and it still absolutely fucking baffles me. i don’t know how it’s even possible.

oh hey i’m moots with kiva too! lmfao

ok hypergryph got me with the tough exterior soft hearted self sacrificial soldier girl in tactical gear with funnels like a fucking gundam. i would crawl through a mile of glass in a salt mine if there was a 10-pull on her banner at the end of it

MY GIRL CAME HOME😭🥳

NICEEEEE

I had to go to hard pity, but a couple 10 pulls after that I got a second copy of her!

i must be hypergryphs favorite girlfailure because i got her to p4 in under a hundred thousand oros😭😭😭😭

imagine youre me.

Part 3 of my Lightcannon Week Warframe Crossover, the Edge of 1999

With the rules of the game changed, Lux is left with few plans and fewer options until a sudden olive branch is extended from the mysterious Viktor Entrati via his cat-like Kavat servant, Kalymos. But in doing so, Lux is faced with a new horror. A new, more devastating truth that she cannot conscience, even if it is the only way forward. What happens when all the science, power, and technology of a far-flung future isn't enough to save the woman she loves?

hehehe rlly happy with this one

Apparently some people still need to hear this so: using an 'ai checker' is still using ai. If you are feeding someone's fic to one of these checkers, you will still not be sure their fic is ai because they are not 100% accurate, but you can be 100% sure that you are using ai. For fic. Furthermore you are doing the work of an ai scraper for them. You are, personally, feeding the machine. There is no actual excuse for using an ai checker on fanfic as a hobby. YOU are the problem.

If you think a fic is ai, mute it and move on. That's it. That's all you do.
