Author's Note: This is my honest-to-goodness, first ever, never-before-done fic. I have absolutely never written a fic before. This isn't a plea of “Please be nice to me!” It’s more a warning of, "Oh my God, this is going to suck." I'm more of a graphics kind of a person. But I had this plot idea, and I just had to try it out, and I'm hoping against hope that it works. So I'd really appreciate it if you guys gave it a try and let me know how it goes. Feedback is always appreciated!

hazy_crazy wrote me a drabble in response to a prompt I gave her ("Kitty/Pyro" and "baseball") even though she had already reached her max of requests, and I felt so bad about it! But very grateful at the same time, since she produced a very cute fic, and I said that I had to write her something in response. I have to admit that I really didn't even know what I was going to write, but I settled on a response to her fic. :)

You have to read hazy_crazy's fic first, For the Love of Baseball. This fic, same as hers is, in her words: set pre-X2 (in the year 2003 for continuity reasons, since that's the year the movie was released).
