i have just come back from a weeks work at shock records, and i was given a copy of the new song.
it's called 'bound by hurt dissolved' and it's absolutely brilliant.

the new album is going to be called 'longing was a safe place to hide'.

I'm a newbie just say a big mmmmmyello to all of you.
Love Outside Andromeda rock my socks!!!
Anyway my name's Emily, I'm 17 from Melbourne.
I got into Love Outside Andromeda by seeing the video for Something White And Sigmund and I just loved it, mainly because(I know it's been said all before) she reminded me alot of Miss Polly Jean Harvey, and i thought she was a very very cool lady.

introduction

Wow, a community, I'm stoked. I'm Mel, and this band's quickly made it into my top ten. (Fave ever band is Dresden Dolls. Yeah, I loves me some girlrock.)

I picked up the L.O.A. album from a DJ friend's sale just before Christmas and fell in music love. I'm based in NSW, so hopefully I'll be off to see them at either Newie or Sydney (omg excitement. I'll have to drag along all my friends.)

Anyway, I created an audioscrobbler group for them because there wasn't one (!!!) and we all know one day l.o.a. will take over the world. So I'm getting in early. I'm trying to introduce other people to them via yousendit.com, too. So get an audioscrobbler account, if you don't have one already, and join!

L.O.A. remind me of P. J. Harvey, except with an Aussie accent. My absolute favourite track is Improper Methods, then Juno. Are there any b-sides/rarities in existance yet?

I don't give a shit how much tickets are. I don't care if noone's coming with me (which I'm sure they will). If anyone's having a birthday party or ANYTHING on that weekend, do NOT expect me to be attending if it's on the Saturday night until after the gig.
NOTHING is stopping me from attending.

I am about to spontaneously combust from this news!!!

Epicure

A little intro.

Hello...

Got into LOA via Epicure - LOA supported Epicure for one of their tours, and I quite enjoyed them. Bought their self-titled LP, fell in love, saw them with Epicure again, fell in even deeper.

Soo... anyway...
A bit about me:
My name's Sam(antha), and I'm 18 and I'm from Adelaide. My first and only love is music.
I'm currently doing a full-time course at the School of Audio Engineering in Adelaide, the course is Diploma of Music Industry. (Basically... its an Audio Engineering course with a cool-ass name)
Favourite band is Live, followed by Epicure.
The list goes on as such:
Placebo, Love Outside Andromeda, End Of Fashion, 3 Doors Down, R.E.M., Silverchair, Linkin Park, Audioslave, Train, Gelbison, Adam and the Weight, Franz Ferdinand, Maroon 5...
Might as well do some band-pimping while I'm at it. ;)
If you've got time, check out Problematic ( http://www.problematic.net.tc/ ) [friend's band in Broken Hill - moved from the punk scene kinda and are now more grungy rock], and
