Lord of the Rings Role Play Group

I suppose this is one of the risks of joining an online enterprise. RL is bound to come on the way at some point or other.
SO I am really sad, because I was very much excited about this game, but I'll be leaving too. Except for the people who occasionally glanced the one thread that was up, dunno if anyone will notice, really.
*sighs*
So I'll just turn the journals to the other game. The guys that do not wish to be bothered please de-friend elrondperelda and this journal.

Okie dokie. I have dropped a few lines on Shrew's private LJ and she told me she was kinda swamped at the moment. So I made the gandalf post and took us out of the standoff, it is now Aragorn's/Borormir's turn. I see the muns are comign back :) and many new faces are peeking out from the shadows. I'm glad to see the game ressurfacing.

All right! We are now going to open back up! We have acquired a Bilbo and a Grima since I last posted, and silverowlwings has agreed to return as Frodo! I am very excited. :) Please check the info page to make sure everything is correct, and update your friends’ lists!

I talked to Gandalf’s mun this afternoon and she should be posting a little later this evening. My goal is to get out of Rivendell ASAP so that we can get into free motion a little sooner! If everyone could post in the next few days, that would be fabulous. Please do it, even just a little blurb as a check-in! Things are officially going! Feel free to contact each other on AIM and play through comments; things should pick up as soon as we get this silly Council done!

Please double-check that you are receiving both lotrroleplay and lotrrp_muns on your regular journal’s friends page so that you can keep up with the game! The Council of Elrond storyline should be posted in lotrroleplay to keep everyone current! You are responsible for the rest of the journals yourself by checking your character’s friends page. Thank you!

We are almost there! Lots and lots of new players have been signing up, and we have almost all the major roles filled now, which is a tremendous improvement over before! I have taken the time to update the information page at the community: right here! Please visit it and update your character's friends' list!

Other than that, the only big thing left is that... we need a Frodo! Badly! It is nearly impossible to go on without one. If you all could check around for someone, I would appreciate it g-r-e-a-t-l-y. Frodo is a substantial (but time-honored!) role, so we need a dedicated player. I can take him if there is absolutely no one else, but it would be difficult for me to mod a community and play such a main character.

Anyway, thanks for all your patience and great efforts! We have a full cast again, and I am completely excited for the revival!

I am now closing the check-in for old players. I think I have given everyone a fair chance to stand up and be counted, so as of now, all characters that did not reply are up for adoption, save Gandalf. (Shrew is unable to respond because she’s in Italy!)

Current members of the game are free to adopt any open roles! There’s a complete list of characters needed here! Go ahead and pick out someone new if you wish!

Oh, by the way, if you have signed in and see your character on the list (Arwen, Aragorn, etc.) that’s only because I am keeping all new journals (e.g. those that didn’t function under Saranoh) on the list for the time being, but the strike means that you have been installed. ^_^ So, er, have at it! Just follow the instructions in that post to get yourself a new character!

Okay, that's it. Sorry to go through all these administrative changes time and again, but this is the oooone last final revamp, I promise. I have given up the idea of "patching up" what I already had and am going for Total Revamp. =^_^= This means that many new players are coming on board and some of the old ones are coming out!

I am very, very pleased to introduce to you Chel as Aragorn and Moz as Faramir. We also have an excellent new Gandalf, Shrew, and a new Khamul, Erestor, and Thranduil on the way!

I've just updated Elrohir's journal for the twins - they're coming back up to the house from the river. If they happened to run into their sister, or into one of the hobbits that aren't at the council perhaps, that would be fabulous. Thanks.
