This is very LOST-ish, so I thought I'd see what you guys think.

What's the consensus? A card divination process that combines tarot cards with a ouija board?



Can these cards really deliver messages from those on the other side??

Every time I hear this song I imagine it being sung as a duet between the Survivors and the Island...let me know if you get it too!

Method Acting - Bright Eyes

Island:
There is no beginning to the story

So. I was looking around Snopes and I found a very interesting article:

Last month a B737 had a mid air collision with a Embraer Legacy while cruising at 35,000 feet over South America. The Embraer Legacy, though seriously damaged, with the winglet ripped off, managed to make a landing at a nearby airstrip in the midst of the Amazon jungle. The crew and passengers of the Embraer Legacy had no idea what they had hit. The B737, however, crashed killing all crew and passengers on board.

The two photos attached above were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tail plane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole. INCREDIBLE. AMAZING.

Thanks again to everyone who played the NUMBERS CONTEST! I had a lot of fun with it and it seems like you guys did, too!

A few folks who couldn't find them all wrote in asking if I could post an image showing where they were... And so, here it is:



I kinda miss seeing the numbers on the show... Think they'll show up on the Season Finale?

Please allow a couple weeks for return delivery- my manager and I will be out of town quite a bit in the coming weeks, so we'll be hitting the Post Office when we can...

I'm getting a couple questions on how to send tubes. The easiest is to send a smaller self addressed, stamped tube inside a larger tube that is mailed to me. (The poster is 18" X 24", so the return tube only needs to be at least 18" in length.) Another thing you could do is send one tube- but provide a large sticker inside that covers my address with yours, as well as plenty of postage to cover the old. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME MONEY FOR POSTAGE! We won't be buying it for you! Again, The more postage you include, the more free SWAG we will fill your package with...

Okay, so here's a little Contest I thought would be fun to have.

Below is my latest LOST piece, which has been produced as a limited edition poster! I've hidden the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 in the actual artwork. Can you find them all?

So- here's the deal. I want to GIVE away ten of these for FREE (that's ten for each community I post this in, plus an additional ten for my Planetmatt LiveJournal, so I'm really giving like 50 away!).

The first ten folks from this community who email me (matt at matt busch dot com) a visual representation of where all six numbers are, get a signed poster, FREE of charge.

What you need to do (after finding all the numbers) is circle them in PhotoShop (or some similar program) and send me a Jpeg. You could also sketch it out and send that image- You could also just write where they are with words, but that may be more difficult for me to decipher. I'm making you work for this! No copy/pasting for friends. Anyone cheating will obviously be disqualified.

If you're one of the first ten, I will email you back the subject "Green Light" and my address will be provided in the email. (Due to time constraints, I'll only be responding to the winners.) What you'll need to do from there is send me a large self-addressed, stamped envelope, or self addressed, stamped tube. That way I can send you the poster! I'm sorry I cannot buy packaging for everyone, or provide postage. The posters themselves are expensive, so that's the best I can do on this Contest- though winners will also be getting additional surprise SWAG...

One last comment on sending me the self addressed, stamped packaging. If you send a tube (at least 19" long), the poster will be rolled with no creases. If you send a large 9 X 12 type manila envellope, your poster will be folded. Also- make sure your return packaging has enough postage on it, or it won't get back to you! (Hint- the more postage you have, the more I fill your envelope with prizes/SWAG.)

I will place a comment in this community once I have enough people that have found the numbers- so you'll know if it's too late!

So use your John Locke-like tracking skills (I hope he isn't gonna die tonight!) and find those numbers! If you're really having trouble- try adjusting the brightness/contrast of your screen.
