You think we might be in the same void? Mine's prettttty dark, so I can't tell how erratic it is.
we could be⦠mine is mostly dark too but every so often i come across a weird creature made of light that hurts to look at or be near

They're pretty fuzzy and nice to be around. They're warm and well the dark parts are chilly as hellβhell's not really chilly but you get the point.
people will say βtheyβre only friendsβ and then show me two people who would crawl through broken glass to hear the other laugh once. two people who have memorized each otherβs coffee orders, fears, childhood stories, and emergency contacts. two people who would haunt each otherβs houses as ghosts. be serious.
Just an FYIβthe original intention of this post was to challenge the way people say only friends, as though friendship is somehow lesser than other forms of love. As if being deeply known, cherished, and chosen by another person could ever be a small thing. Normalize profound platonic love. Some of the most fulfilling, transformative, and enduring relationships we will ever have are friendships. π«ΆπΌ
not to append my own post but yeah. like sure they could be romantic but does that actually matter when the devotion is already so obvious?
Being so fr I can imagine Dabi as some like insanely good bartender who the owners and regulars love bc his "metal" looks.
He can cook and he can clean. No one knows what he did in between him escaping the hospital and joining the league. Bbg probably had an affordable apartment and definetly spent his down time researching(reading, he strikes me as an English major) and making his cool ass jacket or making eleborate meals that he nibbles on throughout the day.

I can very much relate to this and all jokes aside, I know the reason why I read more fanfics than original novels is because Iβm here for the characters I already know, love, and am passionate about. with original novels, I donβt know who these characters are, Iβm not passionate enough about getting to know them. which is the same reason why I donβt read fics with ocs either. which is not to say original novels and ocs are bad. but personally, Iβm only here for my comfort fictional men being put in Situations
