[MAKEUP] Hand-printing...
"What Make-Up?" - Yes I made Up that skirt o__o''
There's no category for that XD
I'm sorry, English is not my first language.
If you don't understand something, feel free to ask =)
First of all, you need the motif. Sketch it, print it, take a picture ^^
The picture I used for this, is by timo-timoe.
(Please never claim someone others art as your own!)
Then get it to the size you want to print it, on paper.
Cut the paper to a stencil, don't forget you need some parts uncut
(like the one above my pandas tail), or else the stencil will fall apart.
I use to lay it wrong sided on a black background, to see if I have done everything right.
Let's fix the stencils on the pre-washed fabric (I use to sew it the half way, to see how it looks at the end).
Some sticky tape could be helpful ^_~
Next you need to a cosmetic sponge a some paint, I recommend color that is made to be printed on fabric..
Gently apply the paint at the sponge and spot it with the sponge at the fabric.
The paint I use needs to be used canny, or else it gets to thick.
When you're finished applying the paint, carefully remove the paper-stencil.
Where you didn't cut the lines out, you now have gabs,
with a very thin paint-brush you can fix those.
Most fabric paints need to dry and to get ironed after being applied.
Please check those informations for the paint you use!
I use to wash the sponge directly after using it, so I can use it more than one time ^_~
Okay, let's color it.
For wide regions I use the sponge again, then use a paint brush to carefully get near the borders.
For little regions, the thin paint brush is needed again.
In the right picture you see my motif before and after ironing it, the colors are stronger after this.
Hope this helped you out, let me know any questions =)
