Welcome to Locked Down, an alternate ending to a story we all know.





THE PAST
The only thing Harry liked about his own appearance was a very thin scar on his forehead that was shaped like a bolt of lightning. He had had it as long as he could remember, and the first question he could ever remember asking his Aunt Petunia was how he had gotten it.

"In the car crash when your parents died," she had said. "And don't ask questions."

Don't ask questions — that was the first rule for a quiet life with the Dursleys.


THE PRESENT

This is it. Harry thought to himself, heaving his trunk down to the Train.

It was the last time he'd be doing this. Last time ever.
He dropped his trunk and turned to look back at the Castle, looming high in the sky. His only real home.
Now it was time to make things work for himself. No more Dursleys, and regrettably, no more Dumbledore.

He turned back to the train just in time to hear screams from within. People started pouring back out of the train as luggage was launched, seemingly on it's own, out of racks and compartment doors started slamming shut and locking.

"Everyone outta the train. Back ter the Castle! Now!" Harry turned to see Hagrid shouting in every door.

He did as he was told and joined the masses teeming back to the Castle. What was going on?


THE FUTURE

Once Harry and the rest of the Hogwarts students arrived back, doors were locked and the announcement was made.

No one...was leaving.

Hogwarts is now a safe house, holding all the students, only members of the Order are allowed to come and go. What will happen to them all? Even the safe house won't forever be safe.

Expect Death Eater Attacks, Student Deaths, frustration and angry conversations with Dumbledore. Strange alliances, plot twists and turns, sudden departures and even students sneaking out from under Dumbledores nose.
Strange things keep happening that make everyone question if Dumbledore really is on their side....

You know how it was supposed to be written, now help write it yourself.



Taking place right at the end of Harry and Gang's Seventh Year, this RP will be based on what we know, but will not necessarily stay canon as we proceed into depths not explored by JK Rowling. Feel free to decide what changes you'd like to make in your character before the game (IE what's happened to them in 6th and 7th year) and also think ahead to what you'd like to see change as we progress in the game.

This game is VERY Slash Friendly but Het is welcome as well. We'd like to see a balance of both, perhaps. If thats possible.
