the sun dont shine, but it never did
and when it rains it fucking pours, but i think I like it

burn your bridges / I'll burn that bridge when I get to it

I learned to swim from all your burned bridges
may the bridges I have burned light my way back home
and I watch all my bridges burn to the ground
yeah, he was cursed by the bridge
he burned to get to her
And you keep lighting little matches
But this bridge won't burn
I keep burning all my bridges down
Just to keep you alive
I like my bridges burnt
You've always liked them over water

Book concept: a book written entirely as back and forth text messages, titled Where The Fuck Are You, and it's all dialogue between the POV character asking the question, and the protagonist who is one of those grandma-levels of mysterious texters.

I'm out with my dog and the girl from that party

It's 3 fucking am, what are you doing

We're on a walk

Do you have any idea how little that answers the question. Which girl, what party, and where are you going?

That girl from Emma's party with the dragon necklace. We're going to the churchyard.

I don't know if I even want to know. Are you aware that they don't open the church gates until 8 am?

It's cool she's got bolt cutters. And we only need to get to the graveyard side.

What the fuck are you doing?

[the blurriest possible cell phone photo of a graveyard, sent an hour and a half after the last message]

It probably would be a book with several stories, or just a very thin one

A series of stories of the mystery texter getting into bizarre, seemingly unrelated random incidents, but over the course of the book it becomes clear that they're all connected somehow. And the Mystery Texted obliviously inadvertedly ruined a long-carrying plan to destroy the world, by always being in the way at the most inconvenient moments.
