Another top 10 Annabeth Chase moments: in TLO when she plans out the perfect moment to confess her feelings to Percy. She casually lures him to the Athena cabin by suggesting they do their chores together and gets her siblings to leave the moment they arrive (Malcolm best wingman). It is perfect. They are finally alone. He has been reminded of the strength of their connection through seeing Silena lose Beckendorf. She is starting her speech. And then the little goblin gets nervous and asks how is her strenuous relationship with her father going. She accepts the new topic and never tries anything like that ever again. 10/10 no notes

Edit!!! since this is getting more traction omg let me talk about what i was thinking. For the design in the back I was kinda tryna go for Athena to her left looking over her shoulder like. Always standing in her mothers shadow her mothers always watching and then I just took inspo the swirls from some Greek vases
