Book List 2018
I managed 104 books (and a couple of extra short stories) this year. I know there were some crap ones in there, but overall I feel like I read a lot of good books this year. I think it helps that the library made reservations free for adults, so I can now order the books I want.
I was rubbish at posting here though; I haven't posted since February's list! I think the best books of the year for me were Gentleman's Guide and Lady's Guide. I adored the audiobook of Gentleman's guide - it just seemed so well done! This is also the year I went back to Wicked, having failed to make a dent in the book years earlier. I must have been in the right place this time, as I got really into it, once I got my head around how different it was from the musical.
I'm also not sure how I did anything else in July other than read....
