Hey!! Hey, hello. I know this is mostly a sticky to catalogue my atrocious backlog that is not getting any smaller but feel free to comment and introduce yourself here if you are interested in becoming friends/gaining access to my journal. All comments will be screened on this post. The only policy I have is do not share anything I post here privately on a public place, please and thank you. Otherwise, feel free to friend/unfriend at will. No drama. No questions asked. Feel free to refer to me by my username or Wolf or Stickee.
I treat this as a real journal. I post about everything. My job, my hobbies, fandom, whatever. Mostly it's day-in-the-life bits along with me sharing tidbits of my writing. I'm not really comfortable with posting my writing publicly. (I may or may not post my writing and leave it public for a certain amount of time. It depends on how I'm feeling.)
In regards to posting, I do use filters if I feel I need to. I have one for my posts on witchcraft/polytheistic religion right now. If anyone needs a filter or wants to be put on that filter (maybe I looked and thought you weren't interested) just let me know. I'm more than happy to make filters. When I post my writing I tend to post it like everyone does on tumblr. I don't have a header but I'll have it tagged appropriately. If it has anything in it that needs a content warning I will put it behind a cut and list the warnings outside of the cut. If it happens to be longer than a few hundred words (which is rare) I'll post the majority of it behind a cut as well. Anyways. Thanks for stopping by!
I've decided to make a list of video games I need to beat. I don't know if I'll make it through the entire list this year, but I think this will help keep me focused instead of me working on one game and then suddenly, "NOW I want to revisit this game for the 50th time! :'D" I'll put this list beneath a cut. beagoldfish has started! I'm going to have to write long-hand and then eventually type it up and post it here in my journal. So I won't be adding updates immediately. It'll be slow but I will eventually post up some fanfic later on for this challenge.
It sucks but I don't like Google Docs and I don't like file-sharing with someone else on a computer. I don't want people snooping through my stuff so it is what it is until I get my computer back up and running.
Oh, did I ever mention that someone found out they aren't marking computer parts up because of AI alone but because of corporate greed? Man, that's a whole long rant for later that probably will be private to save people that mess. Everything has stayed high not because of supply issues but because of corporate greed. Let that sink in. I know food prices are about to skyrocket soon because of the drought the entire country is in (WA and FL are both under drought if that tells you anything) but we need government oversight in a market for this VERY reason. At the very least, don't mess with our rent. :(

Jun. 16th, 2026 12:15 pmSo, I've been learning about 'zines' more and well... I didn't know there was a name for handmade phamplets that a lot of punks like to make. Lol. I dig it though. I've been wanting to make some anti-fascist zines for a while now but I didn't know there was an actual name for them.
I kind of want to make an anti-fascist themed one with poetry and art for it and then another one about my religion... hmm.

Jun. 16th, 2026 11:59 amWell, I got an interview with a dispatch job. Uh.... the federal government is notoriously slow, right? I don't know how long it will be until I hear back from them. In the meantime, I hope I get this job instead. Moving boxes keeps me busy but it's starting to take a toll on me.(My left wrist is starting to hurt under ANY weight I put on it. It's also the same wrist I broke three times in the far back past. Coincidence? Probably not.) I definitely need the better pay or I'm going to have to get food stamps.
I checked out some books at the library. I'm now reading Llewellyn's 2026 Witches' Companion. Which is a nice, light read. I read something in there about numerology. I've never been interested in that but I did the exercise and got '11' for my first name which is a power number and means intuition, revelation, invention, poetry, art, & spirituality. Which is nice. Like I said, I really don't give that form of (??)divination much attention at all but that was a nice little tidbit for the meaning of my name.
Tonight I'm going to go star-gazing at Grizzly Peak trailhead. I think it will be a beautiful night to do this on. It's going to be in the forties up there tonight.
