Hey! I've created a new Community that everyone is welcome to come check out! I felt like talkin' Tolkien and looked around LJ for a good Tolkien community to join, but all that I could find seemed to be devoted exclusively to fanfiction. I have nothing against fanfics, but I was hoping for a place to discuss his works, say what we love about them, ask questions, share artwork *and* fanfiction, and since there didn't seem to be any, I've created my own! So feel free to come on down and check out the Tolkien Community.

I've never read any of these yet, can you believe it?? It is my goal to read and own everything he has written, but some are hard to come by! I still have yet to see anywhere The Adventures of Tom Bombadil, The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth (I don't even know - is this an original work, or one of his translations of an old Norse myth?), or The Road Goes Ever On (what even is this one - I know nothing about it at all!).

So there you have it! I think I will put together a special bookshelf for all my Tolkien books... I just need to remember where they all are... I have moved too many times in the last decade... X_X

Hello! As you might or might not know, I have been for the last three years totally addicted to the game/sim-type MMO thing, GoPets.
Well, they recently added a really really fun mini-game type thing called GoDance that is so cute, and you must try it if you can. ^_^ Or at least enjoy this photo of my kitty dancing. :D

You can play by yourself or against 3 other people online. When you play, you can win prizes and items for use with your GoPets account, like clothing or... chickens. :D I won a rare cow a few days ago. XD Here he is!
