Summary: Lachesis is after Unicon.
Rinne held her chemy cards close to her chest. Careful to keep her eyes on Lachesis at all times as she circled around her like a vulture. She knew the sisters were out and about looking for chemies to use in their twisted experiments. This time it looked like the ones she possessed caught their eyes.
“I’m going to need that Unicon of yours.” Lachesis mused, looking at the blade in her hands with a smirk. Idly dragging her fingers across the flat end. Signaling what would come next if she refused.
However, Rinne was not one to back down.
“You’re not having it.”
Lachesis rolled her eyes, her expression suddenly became harsh and cold. “My, my… You’re always a stubborn one.”
Within an instant the blade of Lachesis’ sword was flush to Rinne’s neck. Digging in just enough where it could be felt, but not enough to cut. Not yet anyways.
Another clear warning.
Next a slow drag of the finger down the side of her face. Lachesis let out a haughty laugh as Rinne could only stand there, completely frozen.
Yet she remained steadfast. She would not hand over her companion. As each second passed her eyes remained sharp, looking for an opening to counter with. There had to be a way out of this.
Unicon had been by her side for so long at this point. Giving playful nudges in her pocket as she went about her day. Whenever it would manifest into its physical form, it was a glorious creature. Just as gorgeous as one would expect such a chemy to be.
Alongside such beauty, it possessed a powerful horn. Able to protect itself from any foe. To defend those it held dear. It was not to be trifled with.
Rinne held the card even closer, her grasp tightening. She would never give up her friend!
“Unicon!”
As if it heard Rinne’s thoughts, the chemy proudly leapt out of its card. Using that very same horn to drive away Lachesis’ sword. Making it fall to the ground with a loud clank.
Leaping back to grab her weapon, Lachesis glared at Rinne with pure, absolute venom. “I’ll get you for this next time.” Which was all she said before teleporting away to who knows where.
Unicon nudged its head against Rinne’s and let out a soft noise of relief. Rinne patted its head. Fingers combing through the soft mane. Smiling and quietly laughing as it snuggled up against her.
“Thank you Unicon. You really helped me out there.”
