Summary: Hotaro, Rinne, and Kajiki have a movie night.
When Kajiki proposed a movie night, neither him nor Hotaro expected what was to come.
Rinne was beaming when she came over, proudly holding out her DVD of choice. It was a horror film centered around Yokai terrorizing a village from what they could gather from the cover.
Granted, they should have seen this coming when assigning Rinne to pick the movie for them. What else was going to happen? Of course she was going to pick a horror film. Well it couldn’t be that scary…
Right?
At first things were fine. But as the film progressed, Hotaro and Kajiki clung to each other for dear life. Screaming nearly the entire time whenever the yokai were on screen. They covered each other’s eyes while wrapped under mountains of blankets.
All the while Rinne laughed with delight. Clapping her hands with the biggest smile across her face. At least she was having a good time.
Once it was over, they thought they caught a break and see something… Lighter. That was until—
Rinne grinned as she took a second DVD out of her bag. “I brought another one too!” As she spoke she was practically shaking with excitement.
Kajiki nearly fainted.
