It was absolutely pouring outside, droplets of rain tapped and slid down the windows and slammed against the roof of the attic. Eiji and Hina looked outside the window, taking in the sounds of the rain while Ankh was scrolling around on his iPhone as per usual.
"It's relaxing." Hina smiled as she looked up towards the sky.
Eiji nodded with a grin of his own, "Yeah." It was really nice... Having this quiet moment between the three of them.
As if on cue, that silence ended as Ankh scoffed. Looking up from his phone from up on his perch, "I don't get what you humans find so relaxing about this."
Hina stormed right on over, "You never like anything!" Promptly flicking Ankh on the nose.
"Oi!" Ankh sneered right at Hina. He almost reached out to bite her for that, but after a moment of consideration he simply rolled his eyes and scoffed again. Turning to the side as he went back to his iPhone.
Some things never change.
