linkyEver start reading an entire BL manga because the two guys reminds you of your fave guys from something else? That was me today.
I've had a pretty rotten day, though I have watched more Kuuga. It's super good! I'll save my thoughts for another post. But then someone I follow posted a screenshot of this Twitter post, made into a Nitter link. And said something along the lines of "an Ankheiji fan drew this" and seeing this art? I am inclined to agree. Theodorus has a striking resemblance to Ankh. And Umehiko is kinda Eiji-esque in ways. There's the homoerotic violence too in the preview. (I'm not saying the mangaka watched Kamen Rider OOO, because I don't know. But if it was the case I wouldn't be shocked.)
So, how can I NOT read this?
22 chapters in and I'm full of EMOTIONS over these guys!! Starting this made my day better. It's a fun read, it's what you'd expect from that sort of preview. It's extremely horny too, as also expected. The art is stunning as well. I love it. There are some really fun side characters as well alongside the main leads.
I am ready to import the physical volumes of this manga from japan one day, just to have since its only digital only in English right now, and panels cut up in a webtoon-style formatting too... I'm very sleepy and have a big headache so I cannot be more in depth on this at the moment. I will make a future post.
