My ‘The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy’ Masterpost

Under the cut is a hyperlink list of THL routes and the order I completed them in leading to my first impressions of those routes. I don’t censor route names so beware of that because some of them contain minor spoilers (but honestly it doesn’t matter because if you watch the second credits roll the names are there as well and its fun trying to figure out where you are sometimes).

it's so interesting to see what people have to say about MGA because it's like, there's a lot of stuff people are picking up on which was intentional, but then also people are reading between the lines in ways i didn't necessarily intend. how people interpret my own writing is very important to me! i love seeing it

part of me does wonder which is which but another part of me appreciates that art is interpretation and that word of god doesnt serve a reader as much as they'd like

i finished work on one of the stories in an isekai anthology ive been working away at off and on. the conceit is pretty simple: after her and her class were isekai'd, homeroom teacher isabelle is on a journey to perform home visits for each of her charges and make sure they're doing alright.

it's very much me musing on the state of isekai stories from around 6 or 7 years ago where a lot of my knowledge starts to fall away. read and or comment on it if you like, it's around 3.7k words so nothing too meaty. a really nice length for an anthology i think. ill probably post the whole thing on royal road if and when i get it all done but for now this is just a bit of a preview.

A Non-Descript Writing Tag Another World Anthology Isekai

honestly there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be cute, it’s just that by admitting you want to, you become a person that desires something. you start to resolve that aching tension in your core. that fear and longing to be something. and the more you admit you want something the more you have to admit you didn’t have it. because to want an ego strong enough to desire cuteness, is to act against everything you used to be. yet before that tension can be completely resolved within yourself, you must first endure the pain of admitting you were wrong. in the end it’s more comfortable to think that you’re a victim of circumstance, isn’t it? like you’re a flower wilting in a patch of grass because a billboard got put up.

still, i don’t think it would be right for that flower to pray for the billboard to be struck by lightning. i think if that flower truly was a victim, it would pray to be anywhere but the darkness. even if the prayers didn’t do anything, why desire a fire so close to home? are you that spiteful little flower? is the pain of the darkness so cutting that you now have to cut down the world in turn? maybe it is, but little flower. it’s still dark and you’re still wilting.

nadeko post from the drafts post itself is okay i just love that last line too much to delete it

Anonymous asked:

Jesus Christ just say you hate innocent people

innerchildabortionclinic answered:

No idea what prompted this, but sure, why not. I hate innocent people.

to be innocent is to strictly abide by the laws of society and we all know there's some fucked up laws in society therefore innocence is merely a pretense used to avert ones eyes from the evil of the system they live inside or if one was truly innocent one would have to be purely good and since pure good cannot exist true innocence cannot exist therefore anyone who calls themself innocent must be lying or wrong its really fun that you can use logical fallacies to describe anything you want as good or bad has anyone else figured this out?
