I woke up today and realized I had a terrible craving for borsht! Haven't cooked it in a while, mostly because it's pretty much impossible to make just a little of it; you may try all you want, but you inevitably end up with about six servings! :D Fortunately, and yes, I am showing off here, I am very good at borsht, and it runs out before I get bored.

Traditionally, it's made with meat, and not the light and diet kind; usually, there's a nice chunk of pork in there. I didn't feel like the canon version, though, but I decided to give my borsht a "kick" by adding smoked prunes. Turned out amazingly good!
