BtVS, Non-crossover, S2/3 Rewrite/Fix-it, Slash Pairing: Spike/Angel/Xander Future Canon!Xander, aged 47, dies in battle and his is drawn into an alternate universe where he was vamped on Valentine's Day and Willow resouled Spike, Angelus and Xander's double. Knowing that he can't go back to a dimension where he's dead, Xander makes the best of his new start and decides to try and build a better future for the people he cares about, even if they don't know him yet.

BtVS/Teen Titans/Nightwing/Young Justice/JLU/Batman Beyond/DC Animated Universe, Slash, Pairing: Slade/Robin or Slade/X or Robin/X or Sladin X "Time is a cruel thief to rob us of our former selves. We lose as much to life as we do to death." - Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey Angelus kills the Scoobies and Xander is run out of town. He ends up stealing to survive and becomes the Jump City criminal known as Red X. Wacky hijinks ensue as he tries to live his life, wavers between hero and villain, makes friends and enemies on both sides and takes the DC universe by storm. Note: Merges the various DC universe titles into one world. Mostly YJ and TT as far as timeline and characterization. Robin left Batman and founded Titans in the 5 year gap between YJ S1-2. YJ S1 is pre-fic, TT is current to the fic and YJ S2 will be the future. I 110% believe that Jason Todd is the person in the Red X suit, so I have unfortunately written him out of this universe by replacing him with Xander. Damian and Jason do not and have never existed in this universe. Tim is Robin II.

On that tragic day, the brightly colored smoke floating over the sleepy little town of Beacon Hills turned black and the smell of spun sugar and melted caramel scorched and lay bitter on the back of the tongue. The Hale’s Candy Castle was on fire. The fire department answered the call, but suddenly the moat, which had seemed to be nothing more than a quaint landscaping feature proved itself tactically insurmountable and the quirky drawbridge was out of reach. By the time the emergency responders had figured out how to get themselves and their equipment to the castle, the fire had burned itself out, the Hale family was gone and Hale’s Handmade Halloween Candy Factory had to be closed.
But this isn’t a story of how the Candy Castle used to be. This is a story of what it became.
Evil Author Day (Feb 15th) was started 5 years ago and is an opportunity for authors to post tantalizing bits of ongoing and incomplete projects, to tempt and entice their readers but with the ever present danger that the stories may never be completed.
