What is a Big Bang?

Big Bangs are long-fic challenges. The idea is to write a complete fic of at least 10,000 words. It's written over several months, so there's no need to hurry or get freaked out!

** Fics that have been already posted - in whole or as a WIP - would not be eligible for the challenge. Fics that you have already finished writing, or have written major chunks for, are also not eligible. **

A Big Bang is not a fic exchange - you're not writing for anyone else, just yourself. And the fun of it! :)

What Kind of Fic is Eligible at bb_shadowhunter

Any kind of fic (slash, het, 3some, 4some, moresome, angst, fluff, smut, gen, adventure/mystery, hurt/comfort, whatever!) that focuses on characters from The Mortal Instruments and/or The Infernal Devices is eligible for bb_shadowhunter.

There are plenty of ways to participate in a Big Bang and have fun!

I've been considering opening up challenges for some time now, and I'm going to see if this works out.

LightcestComm Challenge #1: The First Kiss Challenge

The challenge is to write a fic about the first time out beloved siblings kiss. I thought it was only right that the first challenge would require a fic about the beginning of the physical relationship of Lightcest. Here are the technical stuff

-To enter, comment on this post with "Entering" and a smiley face or other emoticon if you so wish.
-Fic must be at mimimum 1000 words and at max 2500. Let's not get crazy.
-Can be a one shot or a two shot, but both parts must be posted at the same time, in the same post.
-Let's keep it PG/ PG-13. :]
- Any sort of writing style or whatnot may be used but the fic must include the kiss itself. How detailed and how focused the fic is on that particular moment is up to you. But the central theme of the fic must be the act of/reflection on it.
-Can be any point of view (third, first, Alec, Magnus, Isabelle, ect.)
-When you post your entry, please include title and wordcount, anything else is up to you. Tag it with your author tag (if you don't already have one, I will create one when you post) and the tags "challenges:first kiss" and "!challenge entry"
-Deadline is the end of next month- February 28th (29th? Is it a leap year? Will get back to you on that.)

I am very saddened by the lack of AxI pronz. Srsly.  Please don't tell me that i am the only sick bastard who thinks that Lightcest smut would be fan-fucking-tastic. Because Isabelle can be a bit of a ho, guys, don't deny it, so you know that something is going on there. She has to practice on someone and it sure as hell isn't Simon.

I here by declare this post the Anonynomous AlecxIsabelle Pr0nz Meme. I don't care if no one writes anything, I just want this up here in case some brave soul wants to try it out. You don't even need a plot or anything. Comment anonymously with pr0nz. Your mod commands it.
