A Mate's Voyage

A Mate's Voyage is my submission for Pizza Doggy's #4 Horror Jam. Play as a pirate crew's first mate sailing the seas one last time as he searches for the treasure hidden among these dangerous waters.

Playing with AUDIO IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Any feedback as well as ideas for future improvements are greatly appreciated. Keep in mind that all 3D-Assets as well as the Soundtrack were self-made during the game-jam by one person.

Use the wheel and the map on its right to navigate the seas and reach the treasure - be careful as the rocks shown on the map are not in the exact right position!
Below deck there are cannons to ward off beasts - cannonballs can be found in chests throughout the ship.
The lanterns tend to burn out - keep lighting them before darkness engulfs your vessel.

WASD to move and steer.
LMB to interact with objects:

• on lanterns to light them
• on cannons to shoot
• on the wheel to begin steering
• on ladders to change floors

Browser related issues:

The mouse might get caught slightly off-center. If you notice that some hitboxes (especially the lanterns) are not where they should be, try restarting.

Consider trying the downloads below if you have issues playing on browser.
