There are apps available for many of our electronic databases, journals and ebooks.

About Mobile Access

Most ebooks, journals, and databases don't need a special app or have a special link for mobile access. Their sites were created to work with any size screen.

Ebooks

App necessary - Read first
"First, make sure that you completed the installation of the  Adobe Digital Editions reader on your iOS or Android device. Adobe Digital Editions is required for offline reading."

Libby App

To read or listen a title directly from your phone, you can download the Libby by Overdrive App on your device.

 

In Libby App under "find your library" search for The American University of Paris.

Add a library card and sign in with your AUP credentials.

You are now ready to borrow titles


 

Already have Libby?

If you already have access to Libby from another library, you can add another account in Libby.
To add a library card to Libby, tap Menu (Menu icon) , then "Add Library" or "Manage Cards" links. Tap Add Another Card.

Streaming Video Platforms

Kanopy is a streaming platform with over 18,000 films.

You can download the app on your device:

To access to the Library subscription you can either select Get Started - Find a university - then search and select American University of Paris and create a login
OR
you can sign in with your account, if you already created one before.

Get access to Films, Documentaries, Series, Animations, Short Films from all over the world.

Sign in now - Select France - American University of Paris - then select the right connection - Off-Campus sign in (Ezproxy) - sign in with your AUP credentials
OR
On-Campus sign in (if you are using the AUP Wifi).

Browser Extensions

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that will help you find full-text articles even if you are not searching through the library catalog.
To add the browser extension - select your browser - follow the instructions - once it is added select American University of Paris.

NewsGuard is a browser extension available to current AUP faculty, staff and students that shows ratings of news and information source pages as you scroll through the web.

- Create an NYT account using your school email address

Access to over 7,000 digital newspapers, magazines and books in 60+ languages, all in their original format.

Once you have the app on your device, select Library or Group Sign-In, then search for and select American University of Paris from the list.
IMPORTANT: when using the app, the off campus access will remain accessible for 7 days, after that you will need to login through the AUP wifi.
