Since I have known all of you, I have come to realize that all of us have different tastes in music, and I want to capture that somehow so I'm making my own CD, and it will have a song that represents each one of you. Thing is, I need you to recommend me a song -- post it in a reply here, or send it to me if you want -- send your songs to dvorak.23@osu.edu
Please, just one song -- one that I when I play it, I'll say "Man, now that is ___insert name here___". I will list the songs I get when I create the CD. I don't care what it is, what type of music it is or anything. If it screams 'YOU' then I want it.
Post anything that you want (in comments), and post it anonymously. Anything. A story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love -- anything. Be sure to post anonymously and honestly. Post a lot if you'd like. Then, put this in your LJ to see what your friends (and perhaps others who you don't even realize read your LJ) have to say.
please do this :-) I need a cheering up :-)
[edit] yes, I'm 'tarded. and yes, you can now post anon. to my LJ :-P

Ok, so no one will probably remember this, except maybe Courtney:
Every Season Nichole Nordeman
Every evening sky, an invitation To trace the patterned stars And early in July, a celebration For freedom that is ours And I notice You In children's games In those who watch them from the shade Every drop of sun is full of fun and wonder You are summer
And even when the trees have just surrendered To the harvest time Forfeiting their leaves in late September And sending us inside Still I notice You when change begins And I am braced for colder winds I will offer thanks for what has been and was to come You are autumn
And everything in time and under heaven Finally falls asleep Wrapped in blankets white, all creation Shivers underneath And still I notice you When branches crack And in my breath on frosted glass Even now in death, You open doors for life to enter You are winter
And everything that’s new has bravely surfaced Teaching us to breathe What was frozen through is newly purposed Turning all things green So it is with You And how You make me new With every season's change And so it will be As You are re-creating me Summer, autumn, winter, spring
