iPhone 4 and Apple

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technol…

Apple's latest device went on sale on Wednesday, with hundreds of people queuing outside Apple's flagship store in central London for the launch.

The issue relates to the mobile phone signal, with users reporting a drop in signal strength when the phone is held.

The casing of Apple's latest phone is made of stainless steel, which also serves as its antenna.

Richard Warner, who bought his iPhone 4 on Wednesday morning, contacted BBC News, saying that he thought the phone was "useless in its current state".

Ladies and Gentelemen, I submit to you this question. How did this get through Beta-Testing?

The only possible answer is this: Steve Jobs is an Alien.

Thank you for your time.

Ben Folds with the Seattle Symphony

Just saw Ben for the first time in ten years. The quality was a bit lacking, but after they warmed up it proved to be worth it. He had a great story with every song and even told us that the areangment were $10k per song. And if you didn't hear your favorite, it's because they paid it all and the arrangement still sucked.

At the end, the orchestra left an he did there more songs solo. The last song was how the orchestra was unionized in Seattle ons only worked so many hours. Then they had to go home and practice in their bedrooms instead of learning how to make out with girls.

The hall was beautiful but make sure to sit in the middle. The back left was poor sound. And it sounded like the N
band was sightreadimg. Not that the songs had more than three chords anyway. :)

World of Warcraft Economies

I play some World of Warcraft in my spare time. But this post is just for la_chispa and the_macnab (and other usernames that I can't remember at the moment :) . I have a bankalt charater who plays the auction house to generate cash. He currently makes a few hundred gold a day (or whenever I mess with it) essentially managing a futures market that fluctuates on a daily basis.

The character is named Galbraith.

I'm starting a guild (basically a warehouse for my purposes) and am currently planning to call it "The Affluent Society". I was also considering "Conventional Wisdom" (too obscure? not as obvious a reference) or some things to make it more warcraft sounding like "The Affluent Hordeciety" (which is awful).

If you have other suggestions or just want to mock me, please comment here. :)
