So I was walking down Michigan Ave. on the hot Sunday day. Then I see someone, look up, and keep going. Then I stop..... as did everyone else. I run back (un-obviously) to get a better. Definitely Keanu Reeves walking down the street. Fucking awesome! I'm jealous of myself.
Found a Math program at Notre Dame this summer to apply for. I need to get about 3-5 places to apply to in hopes that one will be generous and let me do it. :) Notre Dame's is in Modern Algebra, which I am growing to like more and more. It could be exciting. There are a couple more that I shall research now, so I will end this here.
So I woke up tired, I went to class and came back and crashed for an hour and a half. Then I tried to go eat but the place was closed because of some meeting so I walked to Norris all sad and got food that didn't taste so good because it made me cough every time I took a bite. WAY too much chili sauce in that Stir-Fry and the rice tasted like rubber. So I came back and took a shower and felt much better, and then went to this RA-wannabe meeting which was dull. As of now I have not done any homework whatsoever. Then I wanted ice cream so I went to leave and ran into Katie and Arielle, who came back from this Math-dinner that I had no clue about. I was sad about that. So I went and bought ice cream for all of us and we ate that and talked in the study lounge for nearly 4 hours. It was awesome, I got nothing done, and it was definitely an uplifting from the day.
I'm now in a fraternity/sorority. It's Beta Epsilon Sigma Phi , and we're the baby eating sorority/fraternity. Our tee shirts say "PENIS" across the front in big letters. It's members are myself, Cassie and Katie. Pretty cool eh? I know.
Katie and Cassie are now convinced Mrs. Polenik raped me in 8th grade.... hahahaha So yeah, that was the day, and overall, it went pretty well! went pretty well!

I think it'll be a new goal to use a different font each entry. Or at least so that the same font isn't used the same time within 4 entries. Lets see, if there are say, 50 fonts, then there are 230,300 different groups of fonts that I can use, and if we consider how many different orderings there are, then there are 5,527,200 different orderings of 4 distinct fonts. Yum!
Emily came up to me today, punches me in the chest and goes "Aaron! What are you doing?!" (This is as I was heading to the study lounge) Me, "Um, going to study Real Analysis." Emily, "NO You have to go out and have fun, do you ever go out?!" Me, (not wanting to say 'uh, I have no friends') "Nah, I have too much work to do, it's just how I am." Emily, "Aww, I was like you once, all study. I didn't like it. Then I decided to not study and just be social... and didn't like that. Now I'm aiming for a nice middle." Me, "hahaha Very cool Emily, have fun tonight." Emily, "You too Aaron, take care."
A convo I felt like sharing, I thought there was some humor in it.
So I had a great Realization the other day! I reworked my entire schedule and found I can do soo much with my Math Major and Physics Major in the next two years that it is amazing. I will be the Omniscient-Scientist it's so good. :P It requires that I take 9 Math courses for my major, and if what I have works out, I'll have around 18! YAY! Scott and I were talking today, and I technically will finish my Math degree this year. After this year, I can call myself a Mathematician! I'll have 7 Math classes this year and I already had two from Univ of Michigan. WOW! So I'll expect everyone to include that when they address me "Hello Aaron, Mathematician. How are you?" hehehe, I love it.
So Univ. of Michigan beat Northwestern today. Thank God, I would've had to move to Canada if Northwestern even beat Michigan! Thank you Michigan State for helping Michigan get to the Rose Bowl. I always knew State was good for at least something. Congrats to BSU for beating whoever and Leah's Marching show going so well. Marching Band is such a rush, I miss it sometimes.
Well I figure that is enough for now, I expect some comments.
So I found out today that the oral part of the French exam is a jury! So that means me and 3 other French professors sitting in a room talking French. Panic mood begins now, but I have a Real Analysis midterm to deal with this Tuesday so I can't focus entirely on French yet! These last two weeks of classes are going to be horrible, because there is so much that needs to be done. Then a week off for Finals intense review. That's like 10-12 hours of review I can put into 3 classes a day. It'll be so nice, but I fear that if they give you a week off to review, those finals are going to destroy me. I mean, for Real Analysis, that pretty much means I have to memorize the first 8 chapters because any theorem or example from the text is fair game to be on the final. Modern Algebra, now that I know how the tests work, will be better I hope. I PRAY. Physics will be more of the same. I'm going to stop talking about Northwestern, I do too much.
Nothing else has been new lately. Today I had an interesting dinner with all the girls from the 1st floor, we rocked it out to early 90's music at Sargent. Silly radio system. Then they tried to tell me that I should watch the OC but I told them W&G gets priority. meh, it happens.
This weekend I have zero plans. I want to go to Chicago this weekend and I'm told Finding Neverland comes out like soon. It looks so good, I mean, it's Depp. Can't lose. He'll win an Oscar for that one, I'm sure.
This week will continue the un-eventful life of myself. Monday will include a brief sampling of dullness followed with a touch of lame. If I behave, patheticness for dessert! The rest of the week will then be leftovers. Monday I have to go watch some French video, and I SUGGEST that it will ignite a new love for French cinema it is soo good! Probably won't, can't say I can acting particularly thrilled about how my 5 p.m. time is spent tomorrow. I put a smiley down and then started typing before it so it is following me as I type and I keep thinking of that old woman that is in some banner for a TV production company that says "You little stinker!!" and I can't stop laughing. Wow, that was random..... Random is a good word, I should get back to using it more; I used to use it a lot but then it kinda died. Perhaps I'll reignite its use. I think I register for classes sometime this week, PROBABLY should figure that one out. I'll be a senior after Winter Quarter! ..... and I call myself a sophomore. *sigh* Go me. So last week was uneventful at best. I did nothing exciting or different than my regular routine. I got a 20/20 on the Real Analysis homework where the average was 10/20. Yay for that. It's sad that I rely on the idioticy of the rest of the class to inflate my grade in the end. I've been trying to write my presentation on Chaos Theory and so far have 11 pages of work. I've only done two of the 6 sections too! This is turning into a longer project than I anticipated. Courses are going pretty well I think. Real Analysis is coming along, I'm all ready for the Quiz next Tuesday, and I'll start preparing for the Exam this weekend. It's all memorization, so I should start early. Then Abstract Algebra is interesting material and challanging questions. I like that class, it's good times. Physics is going well, the material is doable, not impossible as before. I've figured out how to work that class, so now I feel I'm doing really well. I hope the final goes good. French is French. Test went good (I think) on Thursday. We shall see. Only 3 weeks left in the semester! AHHH!
Sarah thinks I should apply to be an RA. Free room and board, that would be nice! Perhaps I'll stop by an information session.
Will and Grace, now there's a show. Good stuff, season 3 is excellent, just finished watching the finale. Except Grace is such a bitch this season, she better get over Leo faster. At least her and Karen made up.
So I helped Yweneth fix her internet and she just stopped by with a cake for me! She baked me a cake for fixing her computer! WOW! hahaha caught me completely off gaurd, but definitely made my week. I'm giddy now. Except I don't have a fork :( , so I've been using my hands. hahaha. I should've taken a picture of it, but it looked too good to resist. No self-will. No self-will in a lot of things actually. Kudos to Leah and her friend Ken for working out, I've said it before, but yeah. Jogging went good for a while, but then I was just like "....meh"
Some frat went streaking down Sheridan the other weekend. It was humorous I was told, one kid in my French class was talking about it. It was his first time streaking. I commented that "anything is better naked" and he agreed. Good times. I need a drink.
Amanda wants to come visit me, but I said to wait until Winter quarter since this quarter is almost over. Next quarter's classes would've been exactly the same, but they moved Physics to 9 in the morning! UGH! I was not pleased, I've loved having 10 be my earliest class. Damn. I think I may overload and take a 5th course in something I've already taken at U of M. U of M's treatement of some topics does not compare to the treatement here at all. I'd like to retake Linear Algebra and Fourier Analysis here if I can. I don't think it'll be suicide taking those as 5th courses since I've already had them. I shall look into it, plus, it would be another A to help inflate my G.P.A.
