this was horny hogwash .
the ornate costuming and extravagant, exaggerated set designs felt like flashy faux pas, distractions wheat-pasted over her cherry-picked plot points floating within a soup of pervasive and perverted sex scenes, not to be a prude
apparently, there has never been a truly faithful adaptation of Wuthering Heights, and everything Emerald Fennell fails to address (major plot points and themes) seems much more in line with the lackings of other recreations (especially that ALL BUT ONEβ¦
