"Do you wanna die having never been to Europe, or do you wanna go to Europe and die having been to Europe?"

It’s the dumbest movie but it brings me a great amount of joy.

My favorite watch this year - so far.
I laughed within seconds of this starting.
Keke Palmer’s ability to be a girl’s girl with anyone is truly a testament to her brilliance. <3

Kinda didn’t want this to end. Fantastical in every way.

Just left the screening. Sitting here with my chicken and barley soup, gutted and open.
Watching this I kept harkening back to moments from Jarmusch’s Patterson (2016) and Kogonada’s Columbus (2017).

Past Lives is a soft piece of lovely cinema. A reservation most powerful because of its presentation. No more, no less.

The way NYC was portrayed here stunned me. Yet another small affirmation that I’m bound to make a film very much like this. <3
