Absolutely worth seeing for some wild action and prime Chow Yun-Fat. It’s also too good at aping a lot of shitty 80s Hollywood cop movies so be ready for some real obnoxiousness.

Trish Van Devere probably didn’t get enough opportunities to carry a movie. She’s excellent here and my word do Janet Leigh and Melvyn Douglas ever windmill dunk on their supporting roles as, respectively, the brassy friend and the world’s sweetest old grocer. Modest to a fault but well worth a watch.
