this movie edged me so hard.. there were about 10-15 minutes where i was super engaged and then the rest was just kind of boring. i wasn’t connected to the characters and i feel like the wrong things were being explained while the rest was almost too abstract. i hyped this up soooo hard and was kind of let down by the end. (extremely unsatisfying ending btw) the set design was great but the “monsters” fell flat for me… sigh!!!!

i haven’t had this much fun at the movies since smile 2 came out!! the chaos was so raw it made the movie feel silly AND deeply unsettling. perfection mwah
