Great understated portrayal of doubt in female friendships. When an overwhelming feeling that you’re floundering- socially, professionally, personally- creeps in, but you can’t really confide in your pals even though they’re in the same boat. Gutting!

ICONIC workplace fashions throughout. Very important to me that these women rewear the same pieces in different outfits throughout the film.

loved the needle drop of “Godless” by The Dandy Warhols and the big reveal happening in a children’s play room. otherwise pretty nothing burger.

I adored everything about this film except Yorgos Lanthimos’ atrocious taste in FONTS (I’ll die on this hill- it was that distracting) 🤮. Performances, world building, cinematography, script were all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Visually- the real life sets (ballroom, God’s house, cruise ship) were impeccable, but I could have lived with the CGI imagined sets being more subtle by like 20%. Not enough to wreck it for me and I’m usually a ‘more is more’ person, but this was an exception.

Forever the perfect film to me.
