Just good. Heavy handed with the message but that’s honestly fine, it’s not trying to be subtle and that works with the movie. Great performances, but Demi Moore was absolutely fantastic and the clear standout. The transition from aging starlet to full on witch was amazing to watch. Really liked the cinematography, but  I think the sound design stole the show. Just so many uncomfortable squelching noises, but the score was also well done.

Anyway Ryan Murphy is a  hack and The Beauty is a cheap tv knockoff. Evan Peters rocks tho

Why was rhihana in this?

Well executed “checklist” blockbuster, by that I mean

- has a major star (brad pitt)
- high tier  supporting cast
- generic by the books plot (old vet mentors a hot shot rookie)
- hans zimmer score

It was fun, well executed, and an enjoyable 2ish hours. Kinda like a theme park ride
