Maxou’s and I film night 2

I found it quite triggering and Heartbreaking but  also heart felt, a very special film/documentary. There is a sense of before visibility there is more of an anarchy, it made me think about how much fear is instilled in visibility. A must watch 🤍

The film is set in Todmorden (I believe) near where I grew up in the north, this film has so much of a northern sense to it which I adored immensely - I remember being recommended to watch this film by my close friend Celia and Yoan, me and Celia connected with the two characters and even embodied them at one point. 

I watched it covid stricken in bed and made me cry. It was a burst of desire and unattainable intimacy. Watching the film made me want to fall in love
