The amount of utterly braindead people who lack an ounce of critical thinking ability and visual literacy will never cease to amaze me. Does CUTIES consist of some provocative moments? Undoubtedly. But I completely fail to see how this film propagates the hyper-sexualization of young girls in any way, especially considering each provocative narrative beat or image is met with immediate commentary and swift backlash and consequences for the characters.
