When I think of the all time greatest werewolf films this movie easily takes the cake for being in the top 5. The funny in a dark humor sort of way, the leads and even the minor characters are amazing, the visuals are top notch and still hold up to this day and the story of womanhood meets lycanthrop is as important now as it was back the. Highly recommend for all werewolf movie enthusiasts.

A French lesbian cannibal movie....what more needs to be said? If you don't mind reading subtitles I highly recommend this movie.

Osgood Perkins films are not for everyone...but you cant say he doesnt try to be different...for good or bad. Im probably a bit biased with this review as ive enjoyed every one of his films. They are always beautifully shot...the cast is also amazing as is the acting and the music is always beautiful. If you love your horror on the slow side and weird side id definitely give this a recommendation...but it may be too slow for most and the twist was very obvious.
