Movie rips, full stop.

Second viewing after the initial one in the cinema baaayybeee.
Can't get over how every actor is perfectly cast, how PTA cares so much about the characters because he writes them and therefore knows them. There is a certain power in the writer/director. One of those being, casting becomes a whole different thing.
As stated forever is Benico's and Sean Penn performances, a sight to behold. It is a true marvel how this movie was brought together. Everything you want in a movie.

Contemplating adding a half star because I just became a dad, and this was easily my favorite movie age 5-9ish. Timothy Dalton having the time of his life!
