so many thoughts. first I’ll start by saying what I didn’t like about the film, which was that there were a couple scenes with continuity issues where the audio didn’t line up or someone would be in a different position. it always takes me out. And also the car scene at the end, there was no urgency in the conversation with Sarah. Like my guy u know your girl…

I think there were so many symbols in this movie and it was great. Motherhood, religion, childhood trauma, a mother-daughter relationship (pls kill me), guilt, shame, relationships, etc etc. I loved ALL the foreshadowing like the phone calls. And the sound design was soooo crazy like WOW. But I feel like the movie ended right as the movie was about to climax, I left wanting more! It was still really good movie, genuinely a scary movie and no cheap jumpscares…
