I’m going to start by saying this. What’s gonna follow is my opinion. If you watch this movie and like it, great. Absolutely no hate to you. Personally, I think this movie is laughable shit from a butt.
Now that’s strong and i understand that. Objectively the movie wasn’t bad. Camera work was cool, I enjoyed the aspect ratios changing to separate past from present, colors were good, the moody feeling was cool etc.…

This movie had been on my list since high school ever since I missed the showing in English class because of sports. TBH I think it was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time and a classic film. Chemistry is undeniable and heath and Julia’s chemistry is on full display. An aspect I really enjoyed was the camera work in this movie, especially the swoops and zooms. Everything works, and I wish movies were still made like this. Loved the band reality break in the end too. I love when movies take chances.
