A story that raises questions, a confrontation with ourselves and our destiny. Perhaps there are painful exceptions to the celebrated marriage consent that recites "I promise to be faithful to you in health and illness."

Moonlight goes beyond the pretension of being only a visual poem, it encompasses many concepts such as childhood, cruelty, sexualit and rejection (Never victimization as has been pointed out ) as few films dare.
It is not about the minorities or about being politically correct, the film is about the silent hell with which many human beings live throughout their lives.
