I guess my expectations for this film were so low that it really struck me when it did feature many usual staples of mine. Girls party, strippers theme, gun fights, neon lights and techno music, while delivering a remarkable movie packed with such high nudity content and bloody violence. Not objectively a feat of cinema evidently but it is very much appreciated when a director comes up with this winning combination and pulls it off in a quite decent way for personal leisure. Thank you kindly brother for digging up these pictures out of the fucking underworld.

One of the most important films to me and top ten for sure. Best possible depiction of modern America with a level of transgression that is so over the top. Lily Colson is hands down among my favourite characters of all time, not just from movies, but audiovisual fiction media. Sam Levinson is a fucking genius despite the general opinion saying otherwise.

This is the sexiest film ever made and also the movie with the highest amount of neon I have seen in my life. One of those masterpieces responsible for my personal taste in cinema called Visual Pornography. I cannot worship Elizabeth Berkley enough for giving life to the goddess Nomi Malone. Paul Verhoeven is a genius and time has proven him wise.

Unlike most of the feature films released these days I have come upon a motion picture that genuinely feels to be the work of a craftsman. The unconventional structure, the sensational acting, the beautiful cinematography, the wonderful soundtrack... All of these elements really show the thorough attention to detail and ultimately allow the viewer to enjoy an immersive experience. I am truly pleased to explore the world of cinema and discover such impressive movies.
