Tony walked so Luigi could run (allegedly)
feel like i would be alarmingly susceptible to an amanda seyfried led cult
Aviva is a wild ride filled with beautiful dances that blend seamlessly into the real life scenarios. The two main characters are each played by a female and male counter-part, allowing us to understand in ourselves we have both, for better or for worse. The gender-bending is fluid and welcoming in a film that could be simply stated as a love story meets a young adults coming of age and understanding of self story.
It's bold, beautiful, raw and never what you expect. The dance scenes turns the most mundane and titular moments in these lovers lives into a beautiful stream of movement.
As shocking as ‘the inspired by a true story’ is - this film is so deeply heartwarming and moving. You'll laugh, cry and gasp all the way through. You're rooting for this group of friends every step of the way. Masterful storytelling in a gorgeous world - led by powerhouse performances. A must see
