I enjoyed how the style of storytelling allows the audience to feel the emotions of our protagonist independently. In a movie about a relationship, you need the audience to like them. After hearing the news of Lynch’s passing I was desperate to find a theater near me to screen this film. It was as beautiful as ever and still retains enough mystery to spark wonder even on my 8th watch. But nothing quite compares to the first watch of this film and I feel I will be chasing that dragon for the rest of my life.
