If Superman is about the individual’s power against petty people, this is a movie about the collective’s power against things far greater than any person. We persevere together, or not at all.

Very funny movie, but it lost me with the whole “everybody hates their job, you just have to find something you like” sentiment at the end. Fuck that and fuck them. People who use their hands, in construction or plumbing or coding or whatever, are the only people who actually add value to this hierarchical fuck-over-someone-before-they-fuck-you world. But no, all value comes from “supply and demand.” Humans need food, water, shelter, and medicine. Everything else is extra. Work to change…
